Weakness

Daily Vitamin

Weakness — “Finally it dawned on me that grace is God’s language; He doesn’t speak “thorn-langauge”. He said to me, “My grace elevates you, to be fully content.” And now, instead of being overwhelmed with a sense of my own weakness, He overwhelms me with an awareness of His strength. Oh what bliss to rejoice in the fact that in the midst of my frailties I encounter the dynamic of the grace of God to be my habitation. I now enjoy a delightfully different frame of mind when I encounter things that would normally make me feel frail, whether it be from insults or when I am in situations where I’m forced to do things with my arms twisted behind my back; whether I am persecuted or feel squeezed into claustrophobic spaces. Because of Christ, every time that I encounter weakness I escape into the strength of my I am-ness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9-10, The Mirror Bible)

Many times we get caught up in the question of what Paul’s thorn in the flesh was. In doing so, we lose the point of the story. The main point is that when we are weak Daddy God’s grace is sufficient and His mercy is everlasting! So when you fell lost, weak, or even lonely, Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are with you. No matter what your circumstances, They are with you to walk you through them!

Allow Them to comfort you today!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, we come before You today with hearts wide open, acknowledging that we don't have it all together—and that's exactly where You want us. Thank You for meeting us in our moments of weakness, not with condemnation but with grace upon grace. Holy Spirit, open our eyes to see weakness not as a liability but as the very place where Your power is perfected. Jesus, thank You for modeling a life that embraced vulnerability and trusted completely in the Father's strength. Today, we position ourselves to receive Your grace and to be overwhelmed by Your strength in every area where we feel frail. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s Decree’s

I DECREE that weakness is not my identity; strength in Christ is who I am!

I DECREE that Daddy God's grace is sufficient for every challenge I face today!

I DECREE that I am overwhelmed by His strength, not by my circumstances!

I DECREE that my frailties are the very place where His power is perfected!

I DECREE that I speak grace-language over my life, my family, and my future!

I DECREE that contentment and strength are mine because Christ is in me!

I DECREE that my I AM-ness in Christ cannot be shaken by any attack or obstacle!

I DECREE that I encounter the dynamic grace of God as my habitation today!

Be a Blessing,

Sir Gregory
