House — “So, my dear Christian friends, companions in following this call to the heights, take a good hard look at Jesus. He’s the centerpiece of everything we believe, faithful in everything God gave Him to do. Moses was also faithful, but Jesus gets far more honor. A builder is more valuable than a building any day. Every house has a builder, but the Builder behind them all is God. Moses did a good job in God’s house, but it was all servant work, getting things ready for what was to come. Christ as Son is in charge of the house.” (Hebrews 3:1-5, The Message Bible)
Have you built your house on the rock or on sand? (See Matthew 7:24-27) In other words, is your house built on Jesus or on worldly systems? Daddy God has given us the choice of where to build. We need to examine who and what we believe. There are many voices trying to lead us away from Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Listen to the writer of Hebrews above who encourages us to look at Jesus and evaluate our thoughts and beliefs!
I’ll ask again, what is your house built on?
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, help us take a good hard look at Jesus, the centerpiece of everything we believe! Show us what our house is built on - rock or sand, Jesus or worldly systems. Give us wisdom to examine who and what we believe so we're not led away from You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit by competing voices. Help us build on the solid foundation that withstands every storm. Make us faithful like Moses but help us honor Christ as Son who is in charge of the house. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Today’s Decree’s:
I decree that I build my house on the rock of Jesus, not worldly sand!
I decree that Jesus is the centerpiece of everything I believe!
I decree that I examine my beliefs to ensure they align with Jesus!
I decree that I hear Jesus' words and do them, not just accumulate knowledge!
I decree that my house will stand when storms come!
I decree that I resist voices trying to lead me away from the Trinity!
Be a Blessing,
Sir Gregory
