Zeal — “Love without any hidden agenda. Utterly detest evil; be glued to good. Take tender care of one another with fondness and affection; esteem one another’s unique value. Do not allow any hesitation to interrupt the rhythm of your zeal; capture the moment; maintain the boiling-point intensity of spirit devotion to the Lord. Delight yourself in the pleasure of expectation; prayer prevails victoriously under pressure.” (Romans 12:9-12, The Mirror Bible)
Many things try to steal our zeal for the Kingdom of God. Paul reminds us not to grow weary in doing good. (Galatians 6:9) Many ask how we keep our zeal? By keeping our thoughts focused on Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. To do this we need regular times at Their feet in worship, prayer, studying the Bible, fellowship with others, regular discussions of Kingdom life!
Other ways you can keep your zeal is by helping others., volunteering, random acts of kindness, and learning to love others as Christ loves them.
If you’ve lost your zeal, ask Holy Spirit to help you regain it!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, we come to You today with hearts that desire to burn brightly for Your Kingdom. We ask You to ignite fresh zeal within us, to help us maintain that boiling-point intensity of devotion that You've placed in our spirits. Remove anything that would steal our passion for You and Your purposes. Fill us with Your love that has no hidden agenda, and help us to be glued to what is good. We surrender our hearts to You completely, asking for Holy Spirit's power to sustain our zeal for Your glory. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

I decree that I love others with the pure, agenda-free love of Christ!
I decree that I am glued to goodness and repelled by evil!
I decree that my rhythm of devotion remains uninterrupted by circumstances!
I decree that I esteem others' unique value and treat them with Kingdom honor!
