Thoughts — “Do not allow current religious tradition to mold you into its pattern of reasoning. Like an inspired artist, give attention to the detail of God’s desire to find expression in you. Become acquainted with perfection. To accommodate yourself to the delight and good pleasure of Him will transform your thoughts afresh from within. His grace gift inspires me to say to you that your thinking must be consistent with everything that is within you according to the measure of faith that God has apportioned to every individual. Let the revelation of redemption shape your thoughts.” (Romans 12:2-3, The Mirror Bible)

Consider this verse: “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2, NKJV) What comes to mind is our secular society or worldly ways. But what about the religious traditions?  Our belief systems (whether from society or religion) have become so twisted that we are now at a place where we don’t really know what to believe!

Daddy God, Holy Spirit and Jesus are living within us, yet we seem to ignore Their thoughts and rely on what our world is teaching. Want to change that? Get to know who They are by spending time with Them. As we understand who they are, then we can begin to understand who we are!

Focus on Them and allow Them to guide your thoughts. Then watch your world begin to change. Let’s be more than just a project to finish!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, help us not be molded by current religious traditions or worldly patterns of reasoning. Like inspired artists, help us give attention to the detail of Your desire to find expression in us. Transform our thoughts afresh from within and help us accommodate ourselves to Your delight and good pleasure. Holy Spirit, guide our thinking to be consistent with everything that is within us according to the measure of faith You have given us. Jesus, let the revelation of redemption shape our thoughts as we focus on You. In Your name, Amen.

Today’s Decrees:

• I declare that I will not be molded by religious traditions or worldly patterns of reasoning!

• I declare that I am like an inspired artist giving attention to God's desire to find expression in me!

• I declare that I accommodate myself to God's delight and good pleasure rather than human expectations!

• I declare that I spend time with the Trinity to know who They are so I can understand who I am!

• I declare that I focus on God's thoughts and allow Him to guide my thinking, transforming my world!
