Belief — “So even though you have never seen Jesus in the flesh you love Him; even at times where He seems remote and invisible, your awareness of your union in Him continues to ignite belief. You are leaping with indescribable and exuberant joy as you hold Him in high esteem. In this place of joy, you are beyond the reach of any harm. Joy gives your faith a voice announcing the perfection of your soul’s salvation.” (1 Peter 1:8-9, The Mirror Bible)
Belief — where does it come from? Most would agree that that our world didn’t just appear out of nowhere. So if it everything, including us, was created — who did it? We believe in lots of things without really given them much thought. Yet, we have many different theories regarding creation. History has recorded that Jesus came to restore our original design, as well as our belief in our Creator.
Our Bible is more than a record of history; it’s a living document! So, in studying it, we develop a more accurate belief system. We may not have seen Jesus in the flesh, but He is revealed throughout its pages. From the first page of Genesis to the last page of Revelation, we see the works of Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit! One of the best of those works is that Jesus restored us and made us His living temple.
How’s your belief? If it’s weak, that’s okay. You’re in a good place because Holy Spirit is available to help you strengthen your faith!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, we thank You for the gift of belief and for revealing Yourself to us through creation, through Your Word, and through the life of Jesus. Even though we have never seen Jesus in the flesh, help us to love Him with growing passion and maintain our awareness of our union with Him. Strengthen our belief system as we study Your living Word, and help us to leap with indescribable joy as we hold Him in high esteem. Where our belief is weak, we ask Holy Spirit to help us strengthen our faith. Thank You for making us Your living temple and for the incredible work of restoration You've accomplished in our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I declare that Jesus has restored me and made me His living temple, and Holy Spirit helps strengthen my faith.
