Body — “Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, NKJV)

We have been told that Jesus lives within us—that includes the Holy Spirit and Daddy God. We read it throughout the New Testament. And even in Ezekiel, “I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them” (Ezekiel 36:27, NKJV)

It seems that most have forgotten this! Sometimes we speak of it, but do we believe the God of the universe lives inside us? If the saints of Jesus’ era looked at Christians today, would they be appalled?

“Don’t you comprehend what is happening? Your brain and body are designed as a complete unit to be a sacred temple for the Holy Spirit who comes from God and lives within you—intimately, in a bond of sacred love. You are not a self-originating or self-sustaining being: you belong in intimate connection with God! It cost God an infinite price to restore this connection with you, so let God and His love be revealed in the way you treat your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, The Remedy Bible)

The Remedy Bible expands on these verses to remind us that we are the living temple of Jesus, Holy Spirit, and Daddy God. We were never meant to be merely a physical building. The world and all of creation are waiting on us to show them the way back to Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit!

Today’s Decree:

• I declare that my body is the temple of Holy Spirit, and I honor that truth in how I live!

• I declare that I am intimately connected to Daddy God, not self-sustaining or independent!

• I declare that my life reveals God's love to a watching world!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, thank You for making my body the temple of Holy Spirit. Help me move this truth from something I simply say to something I truly live. Remind me daily that I am not my own, that I was bought at an infinite price, and that my life can reveal Your love to those around me. Let my body and my spirit glorify You in every way. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Be a Blessing,

Sir Gregory
