Complaining — “Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I’ll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. You’ll be living proof that I didn’t go to all this work for nothing.” (Philippians 2:14-16, MSG)

Paul is encouraging those who have followed his teaching to not get caught up in complaining or arguing like the world around them. We can learn a lot from this. I find myself in this mode sometimes; then Holy Spirit reminds me of who I am. Instead of complaining, we should be praying and living out our lives in an opposite spirit!

The world we live in has enough problems without us complaining. We are to be the light that brings change into every atmosphere we walk in!

Today is that day. Let’s be problem-solvers instead of problem-makers!

Today’s Decrees:

🔥 I decree that complaining and bickering are being replaced with cheerful, readily given service among God's people!

🔥 I decree that believers are becoming a breath of fresh air in a polluted society, carrying the light of the living God into every room!

🔥 I decree that Holy Spirit is reminding His people daily of their true identity, and complaint has no lasting place in a heart that remembers who they are!

🔥 I decree that the Renaissance People are problem solvers, not problem makers, actively bringing solutions and prayer into every difficult situation they encounter!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, thank You for Your patience with us in the moments we slip into bickering, complaint, and second-guessing. Remind us daily, through Holy Spirit, exactly who we are in Christ, so that complaint finds no comfortable place in us. Help us to do everything readily and cheerfully, becoming a breath of fresh air in a polluted world rather than adding to its pollution. Teach us to choose prayer over complaint, and to become problem solvers rather than problem makers in every situation we face today. Let our lives carry the light-giving Message into every dark space we enter, that You would have good cause to be proud of us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
