Enemy — “You have within you what it takes to be everyone’s friend, regardless of how they treat you. Do not bother yourselves to get even, dear ones. Do not let anger or irritation distract you; that which we have in common with one another sets the pace. Scripture confirms that the Lord Himself is the revealer of righteousness. “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.” These acts of kindness will be like heaping coals of fire on his head and certainly rid him of the dross in his mind and win him as a friend.” (Romans 12:18-20, The Mirror Bible)
Jesus not only befriended His enemies, He loved them. That can be a tall order, especially in our current society! With Holy Spirit living within us, we have the power to forgive! I’ve always said, “The best way to win over our enemies is to invite them to the table that Daddy God has prepared for me!” (See Psalm 23:5)
Truly if we present kindness, mercy and forgiveness to those who are indifferent to the Gospel of the Kingdom, they will have no stones left to throw at us! Let’s be about bringing Heaven to Earth, instead of trying to escape!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, help us understand that we have within us what it takes to be everyone's friend, regardless of how they treat us! Give us the power through Holy Spirit to not get even, not let anger distract us, and not be irritated by those who oppose us. Help us follow Jesus' example of befriending and loving our enemies. Show us how to feed the hungry enemy, give drink to the thirsty enemy, and heap coals of fire on their heads through kindness that removes the dross from their minds. Help us invite our enemies to the table You have prepared for us and present kindness, mercy, and forgiveness to those indifferent to Your Kingdom. Make us instruments of bringing Heaven to Earth! In Jesus' name, Amen.

I decree that I have supernatural capacity to love all enemies through Holy Spirit!
I decree that I do not get even but show kindness that wins friends!
I decree that my enemies become friends through persistent love and care!
I decree that I invite enemies to God's table prepared in their presence!
I decree that kindness removes dross from enemies' minds and disarms hostility!
I decree that I bring Heaven to Earth through supernatural enemy love!
