Father — “This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who He is, and we know who we are: Father and children. And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with Him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with Him!” ( Romans 8:15-17,MSG)
We live in a world that is filled with many families missing a father — whether physically absent or emotional checked out. Some families have a mean and cruel father. This has created a society filled with many orphaned-spirited people, making it hard for people to see God as a loving Daddy. It’s been a long-term attack by our adversary!
Jesus came and made a way for us to redeem a right relationship, not only with Himself but also Daddy God and Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is drawing those who have a skewed picture of who Daddy God is. He’s bringing back all of mankind into their true inheritance!
“I will pour out my Spirit on everyone. Your sons and your daughters will boldly prophesy, your elderly will have supernatural dreams, and your youth will experience ecstatic visions. And I will even pour out my Spirit in those days upon every servant, both male and female.” (Joel 2:28-29, TPT)
Listen! Holy Spirit is calling!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, we come before You acknowledging that many people struggle to see You as a loving Father because of painful experiences with earthly fathers. Thank You for sending Jesus to redeem our relationship with You and for pouring out Your Spirit to draw those with orphaned hearts back into their true inheritance. Help us to receive the adventurous, expectant resurrection life that greets You with childlike wonder. Touch our spirits and confirm who we really are - Your beloved children. Heal the wounds that make it hard to trust Your Father-heart, and help us embrace the incredible inheritance You have for us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
