Feast — “As was his custom, Jesus continued to teach the people by using allegories. He illustrated the reality of heaven’s kingdom realm by saying, “There once was a king who arranged an extravagant wedding feast for his son. On the day the festivities were set to begin, he sent his servants to summon all the invited guests, but they chose not to come. So the king sent even more servants to inform the invited guests, saying, ‘Come, for the sumptuous feast is now ready! The oxen and fattened cattle have been killed and everything is prepared, so come! Come to the wedding feast for my son and his bride!’” (Matthew 22:1-4, The Passion Translation)

Jesus has prepared a feasts for each of us. In fact He has prepared it right in front of our enemies! (See Psalms 23:5.) The table is set, yet many don’t come. Jesus called many to follow Him, yet many didn’t bother because they had other things to do. (Matthew 8:22). It’s seems we have become a people that would rather go to McDonald’s than feast with the King of the Universe!

The invitation is still available and you don’t even have to RSVP. Just come! Won’t you join me at the table? I’ll save you a seat.

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God! Thank You that Jesus has prepared an extravagant wedding feast for us and that the invitation is still available with no RSVP required. Help us not be like those who were too busy with other things when called to follow You. We don't want to choose McDonald's over feasting with the King of the Universe! Thank You that You've prepared a table for us right in front of our enemies, showing Your favor and protection. Help us accept the invitation to come and feast at Your table. We want to join You at

this sumptuous feast where everything is prepared and ready. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s Declarations:

I accept the invitation to feast at the King's table! I refuse to settle for McDonald's spirituality when the King of the Universe has prepared an extravagant feast for me. I won't let "other things" keep me from this sumptuous banquet where everything is prepared and ready. I'm grateful that no RSVP is required and that my seat is saved at the table. I choose to prioritize feasting with Jesus over all other activities and commitments.

I decree that I accept the King's invitation to His extravagant wedding feast!

I decree that I will not settle for fast-food spirituality when the King's banquet is available!

I decree that I take my saved seat at the table prepared for me in the presence of my enemies!

I decree that I join the celebration at the marriage supper of the Lamb with joy and gratitude!
