Daily Vitamin
Finish — “By your mighty power I can walk through any devastation, and You will keep me alive, reviving me. Your power set me free from the hatred of my enemies. You keep every promise You’ve ever made to me! Since Your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!” (Psalm 138:7-8, The Passion Translation)
Have you ever wondered, “Will I ever learn all I need?” Probably not, but Daddy God will finish what He started! For most of us, that will happen over our lifetime. The best part is that Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit will never leave us alone. That means we can learn all we want about Them and the plans They have for us. Let’s be about the business of learning who and what we are in Them!
“My prayers for you are full of praise to God as I give Him thanks for you with great joy! I’m so grateful for our union and our enduring partnership that began the first time I presented to you the gospel. I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this gracious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ!” (Philippians 1:3-6, TPT)
So Paul tells us when They will be finished with us. It’s at the revealing of Christ once again!
Let’s Pray:
Good morning, Daddy God, and Happy Fourth of July! On this day of celebrating freedom, we thank You for the ultimate freedom You've given us through Your finished work. Thank You that You never leave projects incomplete - what You start in us, You will finish! Help us trust in Your mighty power to walk through any devastation and keep us alive. We're so grateful that our learning journey with You lasts our entire lifetime and beyond. Holy Spirit, help us be about the business of discovering who and what we are in You. We don't have to wonder if we'll ever learn enough - You'll finish every good thing You've begun in us! In Jesus' name, Amen.
Today’s Declaration:
I trust that God will finish every good thing He's begun in me. I don't have to rush or worry about learning everything at once - I have a lifetime to discover who I am in Him. His faithfulness guarantees that what He started, He will complete. I am in an enduring partnership with the Trinity, and They will never abandon the work They've begun. Until Christ is revealed again, God is faithfully maturing me through His gracious process.
