Teach — “Give me more revelation of your ways, for I see your love and tender care everywhere. Your extravagant kindness to me makes me want to follow your words even more! Teach me how to make good decisions, and give me revelation-light, for I believe in your commands.” (Psalms 119:64-66, The Passion Translation)
Holy Spirit is here to help guide us and teach us what we need to know. We also need Holy Spirit to help us with discernment and understanding. There have been a lot of teachings which have misrepresented or changed the truth. And some facts have been covered up. This is true for both historical events as well as in the interpretation of scripture. It’s been happening in times past, and it’s happening in our culture today.
Paul told the Philippians that he was praying for their discernment: “I continue to pray for your love to grow and increase beyond measure, bringing you into the rich revelation of spiritual insights in all things.” (Philippians 1:9, TPT)
There have been many false prophets and teachers throughout time. We need discernment to know what’s true, just as they did in past history! So seek Holy Spirit, Jesus and Daddy God to teach you in all things!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God! Thank You for this time to seek Your wisdom and understanding. We hunger for more revelation of Your ways and want to see Your love and tender care everywhere around us. Holy Spirit, we need You to be our teacher and guide, helping us discern truth from error in a world full of confusion. Give us revelation-light to make good decisions and spiritual insights in all things. In times when truth has been misrepresented, covered up, or changed, help us find the real truth through Your divine teaching. We don't want to be deceived by false prophets or teachers - we want to learn directly from You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Teach us in all things! In Jesus' name, Amen.
Today’s Declaration:
I hunger for more revelation of God's ways and choose to learn directly from Holy Spirit, Jesus, and Daddy God. I will not be satisfied with secondhand spiritual knowledge or traditional interpretations that may have been twisted. I ask for discernment to separate truth from error and revelation-light to make good decisions. My love for God will grow beyond measure, bringing me into rich revelation and spiritual insights in all things. I refuse to be deceived by false teachers - I choose divine education over human wisdom.
Be a Blessing,
Sir Gregory
