Future — “This is my conviction; no threat whether it be in death or life; be it celestial messengers, demon powers or political principalities, nothing known to us at this time, or even in the unknown future; no dimension of any calculation in time or space, nor any device yet to be invented, has what it takes to separate us from the love of God unveiled in our Lord, Jesus Christ.” (Romans 8:38-39, The Mirror Bible)

Thinking about the future can often be a bit scary. Looking from the perspective of the past, things in our present world seem unbelievable. And the future feels overwhelming with the rate in which things are being created — the internet, talking phones, self driving cars, and now with the widespread use of AI. Things can seem uncertain.

Paul already was convinced that nothing can separate Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit’s love for us. We live in a world where the future could go in many different directions. Yet nothing created (or that will be created) can separate us from the love and care of Daddy God!

So when you begin to feel separated or overwhelmed by the future, stop and take a deep breath of Holy Spirit’s comfort. And ask Jesus to wrap His loving arms around you!

Lets Pray:

Daddy God, thank You for the unshakeable conviction that nothing in the future can separate us from Your love unveiled in Jesus Christ. When the rapid pace of change makes us feel uncertain or overwhelmed, help us remember that no technology, no political power, no unknown dimension, and no device yet to be invented has what it takes to disconnect us from Your love and care. Holy Spirit, breathe Your comfort into our hearts when future fears arise, and Jesus, wrap Your loving arms around us when uncertainty threatens our peace. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today’s Decrees:

• I declare that no future development can separate me from the love of God unveiled in Jesus Christ!

• I declare that I rest in unchanging divine love while navigating a changing world!

• I declare that Holy Spirit's comfort is available when future uncertainties threaten my peace!

• I declare that Jesus wraps His loving arms around me when change feels overwhelming!

• I declare Paul's conviction as my own: nothing has what it takes to disconnect me from God's love!
