Life — “Let me emphasize this: As you yield to the dynamic life and power of Holy Spirit, you will abandon the cravings of your self-life. When your self-life craves the things that offend Holy Spirit you hinder Him from living free within you! And Holy Spirit’s intense cravings hinder your self-life from dominating you! So then, the two incompatible and conflicting forces within you are your self-life of the flesh and the new creation life of the Spirit. But when you yield to the life of the Spirit, you will no longer be living under the law, but soaring above it!” (Galatians 5:16-18, The Passion Translation)
We have been given the choice of which life we want to live. Noah chose to be obedient and built the Ark. Joseph kept himself pure and became a ruler. Jesus chose to become the sacrifice so we could become who we were created to be.
Paul tells us that our flesh and spirit are at war and which ever life we yield to will be the victor! One leads to life the other to death! There are many examples of both. King Saul chose to do things his own way and lost his kingdom. David made many mistakes but chose to do things Daddy God’s way. We read that David became a man after Daddy God’s heart.
Our life is ours to choose how we want to live! I chose to follow Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit! Won’t you join me on this journey?
Lets Pray:
Daddy God! Thank You for giving us the choice of which life we want to live. Help us yield to the dynamic life and power of Holy Spirit and abandon the cravings of our self-life. We don't want to hinder Holy Spirit from living free within us by craving things that offend Him. Help us understand that our flesh and spirit are at war, and whichever one we yield to will be the victor. We choose life over death, Spirit over flesh, Your way over our way. Like Noah, Joseph, and Jesus, help us make the right choices that lead to life. We want to be people after Your heart like David, not people who lose everything like Saul. We choose the way of Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit! In Jesus' name, Amen.

I choose to yield to the dynamic life and power of Holy Spirit and abandon the cravings of my self-life. I will not hinder Holy Spirit from living free within me by craving things that offend Him. I align myself with His intense cravings for righteousness, love, and God's glory. I choose Spirit-life over self-life, knowing that whichever one I yield to will be the victor. Like Noah, Joseph, and Jesus, I choose obedience, purity, and sacrifice over the easy path. I want to be a person after Daddy God's heart like David, not someone who loses everything like Saul.
I decree that I yield to Holy Spirit's dynamic life and power, abandoning all self-life cravings!
I decree that Holy Spirit lives free within me, unhindered by offending choices!
I decree that Spirit-life dominates over flesh-life in every area of my existence!
I decree that I soar above the law through the life of the Spirit, not struggling under it!
I decree that I am a person after God's heart, choosing His way over my way in every decision!
