Obedience — “For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One.” (2 Corinthians 10:4-5, The Passion Translation)
We should capture every thought and action that is disobedient to Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit! So don’t keep them captive in the dungeons of your thoughts. Rather, bring them into obedience to the ways decreed in Isaiah 61:1-3. And Jesus proclaimed in Luke, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, and He has anointed Me to be hope for the poor, healing for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, ‘You are set free!’ I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God’s great acceptancet has begun.” (Luke 4:18-19, TPT)
Clearly, we are to take our thoughts captive and not to keep them trapped in our minds. We are to bring them into obedience and then set them free. If we keep them captive, they have a chance of tormenting us again.
What thoughts or actions do you need to bring into obedience? There is no better time than now to bring them to Jesus and then set them free!
Let’s Pray:
Good morning, Daddy God! Thank You that we don't have to fight spiritual battles with human weapons or manipulation. Give us wisdom to use the divine spiritual weapons You've provided to demolish deceptive fantasies and break through arrogant attitudes that oppose Your truth. Help us capture every disobedient thought and action, but not to keep them trapped in our minds. Instead, help us bring them into obedience to Jesus and then set them free according to Your Jubilee message. We want to experience the hope, healing, freedom, and great acceptance that Jesus proclaimed. There's no better time than now to bring our thoughts and actions into obedience to You! In Jesus' name, Amen.

I wage spiritual warfare with divine weapons, not human manipulation. I capture every thought and action that disobeys Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, bringing them into obedience to the Anointed One. I don't keep rebellious thoughts trapped in mental dungeons; I transform them through Christ's authority and set them free. I demolish deceptive fantasies and break through arrogant attitudes with divine power. Today I choose obedience and experience the hope, healing, and freedom of God's great acceptance.
I decree that every deceptive fantasy opposing God is demolished by divine power in my life!
I decree that every arrogant attitude defying God's truth is broken through and surrendered!
I decree that every rebellious thought bows in obedience to the Anointed One!
I decree that captured thoughts are transformed and released into freedom, not kept in mental prisons!
I decree that I live in the Jubilee season of God's great acceptance and total freedom!
