Masterpiece — “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10,  NLT)

“We are engineered by His design; He molded and manufactured us in Christ. We are His workmanship, His poetry. We are fully fit to do good, equipped to give attractive evidence of His likeness in us in everything we do.” (Ephesians 2:10, The Mirror Bible)

“So God created man and woman and shaped them with His image inside them. In His own beautiful image, He created His masterpiece. Yes, male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:27, TPT)

You Are Not a Copy — You’re a Masterpiece!

We are Daddy God’s poetic masterpiece, the only creation with His image built in! I’ve always struggled a little with the idea that we are all made in His image. We look so different from one another. We vary in size, shape, color, and gender. So it helped me to understand it’s His image inside us, not necessarily our physical being.

He made us to be a poem that the world may read.

Religious institutions say: prove your worth, earn your place, work until you finally feel like you matter. But sonship says something different — you were called a masterpiece before you took your first breath. You were His poetry before you did a single work. Ephesians 2:10 puts the good works after the poetry is declared. You don’t perform to become the poem. You already are the poem — now you get to live out its lines.

You are His Masterpiece. Let this sink in so you become what your created to be, not what the empires of this world and religion say about you!

Today’s Declarations:

• I declare that I am God's masterpiece — engineered by His design, molded in Christ, shaped with His image inside me before I ever drew breath!

• I do not perform to become the poem — I already am the poem, and today I get to live out its lines!

• The image of Daddy God is inside me — not upon me — and that image is expressed uniquely through everything about how He made me!

• I reject the religious performance trap that says prove your worth and earn your place — Sonship says I was a masterpiece before I took my first breath!

• I am fully fit to do good and equipped to give attractive evidence of His likeness in everything I do — not because I earned it but because He engineered it!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God let this sink in today — not as information but as identity. We are Your masterpiece. Your poetry. Engineered by Your design, shaped with Your image inside us, fully fit to do good and equipped to give attractive evidence of Your likeness in everything we do. Forgive us for the times we have accepted the religious performance trap — for striving to become what You already declared us to be before we took our first breath. Let Sonship replace religion in our hearts today. Let the secure, loved, fully designed identity of a masterpiece replace the exhausting striving of someone who has never quite arrived. And let the good works that flow from us today come from the overflow of that secured identity — not the desperation of striving but the joy of expressing. We are Your poem, Daddy God. Let us live out its lines today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
