Focus — “So no wonder we don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day. We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison, because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18,TPT)

What has your attention? The things we can see or the unseen realm? Do you focus on the things that will pass away or that which will last forever? It’s a real struggle to keep our focus on the spiritual when we live in the natural. Too often it seems like we are sleepwalking through life. Yet the reality is we can be fully awake to the spiritual and natural realms. It’s not one or the other.

I’m definitely not saying we should neglect the physical and focus only on the spiritual. But I am saying let’s not let our focus only be on the natural. We need the Holy Spirit and His spiritual realm to help us navigate the physical. We are both spiritual and physical beings.

Let’s stop sleepwalking and be fully awake in both the realms that we live in!

Today’s Decrees:

I decree that the people of God are waking up — fully awake in both the natural and spiritual realms — and the spirit of sleepwalking, spiritual numbness, and eternal blindness is broken in Jesus' name!

🔥 I decree that the difficulties God's people are facing are not defeating them — they are producing an eternal weighty glory that far outweighs every temporary trouble in the seen realm!

🔥 I decree that inner beings are being renewed across the earth — daily, consistently, supernaturally — regardless of what the outer person is walking through right now!

🔥 I decree that the Renaissance People are fully awake — eyes open in both realms, focused on the eternal, navigating the natural with spiritual clarity — and refusing to sleepwalk through the greatest adventure of their lives!

Let’s Pray:

God wake us up today — fully awake in both realms we were designed to inhabit. Open the eyes of our hearts to the unseen dimension that runs alongside every moment of our physical lives. Help us to stop sleepwalking through the eternal while only paying attention to the temporary. Renew our inner beings today — fresh strength, fresh perspective, fresh awareness of the spiritual reality that gives everything in the natural world its true meaning. Let us see our difficulties through Your lens — as the substance producing an eternal weighty glory far beyond all comparison. And let us live today fully present, fully awake, and fully alive in both the physical and spiritual dimensions of the extraordinary Kingdom life You designed us for. In Jesus' name, Amen.
