Daily Vitamin

Poetry — “We are engineered by His design; He molded and manufactured us in Christ. We are His workmanship, His poetry. We are fully fit to do good, equipped to give attractive evidence of His likeness in us in everything we do.” (Ephesians 2:10, The Mirror Bible)

Just like when we write a poem about something beautiful or wonderful, the Bible is a poem about who we are to Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. And what’s even more awe inspiring is that They crafted us in Their own Image and likeness. This is why all of creation marvels.

Our adversaries have convinced many of us that isn’t true. We’ve have been tricked by the same lie that Adam and Eve were tricked by — that Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are holding out on us. The answer seems pretty simple when ask, “Why would they create us and then mistreat us?” They wouldn’t.

We are Their poem, Their masterpiece. Jesus gave up His divinity to become one of us. To prove Their love for us! You are more valuable to Them than a moving song or a beautiful flower. You are Their poetry to the rest of creation!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, help us understand the incredible truth that we are Your poetry, Your masterpiece, engineered by Your design and molded in Christ. Open our eyes to see ourselves as You see us—not as projects to be fixed but as beautiful works of art that display Your image and likeness to all creation. Holy Spirit, dispel the lies our adversaries have whispered about Your heart toward us and reveal the depths of Your love that moved You to give up divinity to become one of us. In Jesus' name, Amen.

• I decree that I am God's poetry, His masterpiece engineered by divine design!

• I decree that I am molded and manufactured in Christ, fully fit to do good!

• I decree that I reject every lie that suggests God is holding out on me or disappointed in me!

• I decree that I give attractive evidence of God's likeness in everything I do!

• I decree that I am treasured by God as His living poem that declares His glory to creation!
