Daily Vitamin

Life — “So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from His perspective.” (Colossians 3:1-2, MSG)

We are seated in heavenly places alongside Jesus, so why not adopt His perspective? A throne-room view! As we watch what Jesus is doing, we can adjust both our prayers and our actions.

“We are co-included in his resurrection. We are also co-elevated in His ascension to be equally present in the throne room of the heavenly realm where we are co-seated with Him in His executive authority. We are fully represented in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:6, The Mirror Bible)

Many times we forget not only who we are but where we are!

Let’s not add Jesus to our collection of things that pile up, sitting forgotten in the closet or packed away in storage bins. Make Him a reality in your life, keeping in mind where you are going and Who’s going with you!

Today’s Decrees:

🔥 I decree that God's people are lifting their eyes from what is only right in front of them and seeing from the throne room perspective they already possess in Christ!

🔥 I decree that prayers are shifting from asking Jesus to bless our own plans, to watching what He is already doing and aligning ourselves with it!

🔥 I decree that Jesus is becoming a living, daily reality in the lives of believers, no longer stored away and brought out occasionally!

🔥 I decree that the Renaissance People remember exactly where they are seated, and they walk with the confidence, perspective, and authority of that position every single day!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, thank You for seating us with Christ in the heavenly realm, co-included in His resurrection, co-elevated in His ascension, fully represented in His executive authority. Forgive us for the times we have forgotten not only who we are, but where we are, shuffling along absorbed only in what is right in front of us. Help us to look up today, to watch what Jesus is doing, and to align our prayers and our actions with His perspective rather than asking Him to bless what we have already decided on our own. Let Jesus be a living reality in our daily lives, not something we store away and bring out occasionally. Remind us today, and every day, exactly where we are seated. In Jesus' name, Amen.
