Trust — “Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on Him to guide you, and He will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with Him in whatever you do, and He will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore Him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong.” (Proverbs 3:5-7,TPT)
We trust in so many things without even thinking about it. Do you worry about a chair holding you before you sit down? How about when you flip on the light switch? Don’t you trust the lights will come on? How about your car? When you put the key in the ignition, do you trust it will start? — Unless there’s a known problem, of course you do!
We also trust that our family and friends will be truthful! But what about Jesus, Holy Spirit and Daddy God? Do we trust that they really care about us? What about believing the Bible? (Even science is proving that the Bible has been true all along.)
Our society has become so untrusting that it makes life harder. Yet there is so much evidence that Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit truly are trustworthy!
How’s your trust level? They trust us and are awaiting on us to trust Them!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, we come before You recognizing that we trust so many things in our daily lives without even thinking about it, yet sometimes struggle to trust You completely. Help us to see the evidence of Your trustworthiness all around us and in our own lives. Teach us to rely on You with the same confidence we have in a chair to hold us or a light switch to work. Give us hearts that are intimate with You, minds that seek Your guidance in every decision, and spirits that rest in Your faithful care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I declare that I trust in the Lord completely, with the same confidence I have in everyday things that prove reliable.
I declare that I will not rely on my own limited understanding but will seek God's guidance in every decision.
I declare that I am becoming intimate with God in whatever I do, knowing He will lead me wherever I go.
I declare that I choose humility over pride, recognizing that God's wisdom far exceeds my understanding.
I declare that my trust in God grows stronger as I experience His faithfulness in every area of my life.
