Truth — “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” (Psalm 145:18, NKJV)

I really didn’t understand the context of truth in this verse, so I dug into it a little deeper. By digging into different translations, I came to understand what He meant. Here’s a few examples:

“God’s there, listening for all who pray, for all who pray and mean it.” (PSA 145:18, MSG)

“You draw near to those who call out to you, listening closely, especially when their hearts are true.” (PSA 145:18 TPT)

What does truth mean? Over the centuries, what we call truth has become watered down, losing its meaning. We claim that whatever we think is right is the truth.

Webster’s Dictionary defines truth what is true, real or factual. But in the Bible, truth is not just a correct fact or a set of rules. It is the steady, reliable character of God. It’s the real way the world works.

So when we pray with a heart that means what it is saying, we are being true — not just repeating practiced word said over and over again. We can be assured that Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit hear and respond accordingly.

Today’s Decrees:

🔥 I decree that God's people are praying with hearts that genuinely mean their words, not empty repetition!

🔥 I decree that the watered-down understanding of truth in our culture is being replaced by the steady, reliable truth of who Daddy God actually is!

🔥 I decree that Daddy God is drawing near to every sincere heart that calls upon Him, listening closely and responding faithfully!

🔥 I decree that the Renaissance People pray in truth, and their prayers carry real weight because their hearts are genuinely present!

Let’s Pray:

Daddy God, thank You for drawing near to all who call upon You in truth. Forgive us for the times our prayers have become practiced words, repeated without our hearts truly being present. Teach us to pray sincerely, meaning every word we speak to You. Help us understand truth not simply as correct information, but as Your steady, reliable character, the real way the world actually works. Let our prayers reflect genuine hearts, aligned with who You truly are. We trust that You hear us, and we trust that You respond. In Jesus' name, Amen.
