Visible — “Persuasion confirms confident expectation and proves the unseen world to be more real than the seen. Faith celebrates as certain what hope visualizes as future. People of previous generations received the testimony of their hope in faith. It was faith that made their hope tangible. Faith alone explains what is not apparent to the natural eye; how the ages were perfectly framed by the Word of God. Now we understand that everything visible has its origin in the invisible.” (Hebrews 11:1-3, The Mirror Bible)
Without faith it’s hard to believe there is an invisible world. The writer of Hebrews explains that the unseen realm is more real than the seen. That’s why we need faith. Moses tells us that in the beginning the earth didn’t even exist until Daddy God spoke. Then it became seen! We live in the seen, but without the unseen everything would disappear into nothingness because He holds all things together!
Most people believe there is more to us than what we see. Just like Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are one, we each have three parts — physical, emotional and spiritual! Two parts of our being aren’t seen, yet we believe they are real. So why is it so hard to believe that Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are real?
Allow your faith to grow with the understanding that we need the unseen as much as we need the seen!
Today’s Decrees:
I declare that everything visible has its origin in the invisible — and I live from the unseen source of all things seen!
My faith proves the unseen world to be more real than the seen — I celebrate as certain what hope visualizes as future!
I am three parts in one — physical, emotional, and spiritual — and I honor all three dimensions of who I am as equally real and equally important!
My faith grows with every Word I receive, every testimony I hear, and every encounter I have with the God who spoke the visible world into existence!
I need the unseen as much as I need the seen — and I live with eyes wide open to both realms simultaneously!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God You are the invisible Source of everything visible and we stand in awe of that today. Open the eyes of our faith to the reality that the unseen realm is more real than the seen — that everything we can touch and measure and observe had its origin in You, in Your Word, in the invisible eternal reality of who You are. Grow our faith today. Not by removing the things we cannot see but by making them more real to us than the things we can. Remind us that we are already three part beings living proof that the invisible is real. And let the persuasion of faith rise in us until we celebrate as certain what hope visualizes as future — until the invisible promises of Your Word become as tangible and undeniable as the visible world You spoke into existence in the beginning. In Jesus' name, Amen.
