Daily Vitamin
Walk — “Your daily walk is no different from that initial embrace when you first understood your divine association in Him. (As you have received Christ, so walk in Him.) Just like the roots of a tree, draw your sustenance and strength from Him. Like a building rising up out of its foundation your life makes the full stature of Christ visible; standing tall in His shoes, firm in your faith posture. The language of gratitude that overflows from your lips reflects the exact impression of what you were taught.” (Colossians 2:6-7, The Mirror Bible)
We have the promise that Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit will always be with us. “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Joshua 1:5, NKJV)
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy, 13:5, NKJV)
“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5, NKJV)
We have the promise that They will always be with us. So how about choosing to walk with Them? You might ask, how do we do that? Follow the examples that Jesus taught. By doing this, you will walk with Them all your days!
How’s the way look ahead of you? If it’s dim and dark, ask Them to shine Their light and guide you!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, we thank You for the incredible promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Help us to understand what it means to walk with You daily, just as we first embraced our divine association in Christ. Teach us to draw our sustenance and strength from You like roots draw from soil, and to stand firm in our faith posture. When the way ahead looks dim and dark, shine Your light and guide our steps. Help us to follow Jesus' example in all we do, walking with You all our days. In Jesus' name, Amen.
