Weary — “Don’t you know? Haven’t you been listening? Yahweh is the one and only everlasting God, the Creator of all you can see and imagine! He never gets weary or worn out. His intelligence is unlimited; He is never puzzled over what to do! He empowers the feeble and infuses the powerless with increasing strength. Even young people faint and get exhausted; athletic ones may stumble and fall. But those who wait for Yahweh’s grace will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their race without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.” (Isaiah 40:28-31, TPT)
Many of us grow weary in life. It seems our society’s weariness has grown to an experiential level — especially with people not even knowing who is speaking the truth and who isn’t. This is also true in the organized church world. Isaiah encourages us to wait upon Daddy God; in doing so, we will receive strength!
Paul also encourages us to “don’t allow yourselves to be weary or disheartened in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you’ve planted is coming” (Galatian 6:9, TPT)
If you’re in a season of weariness, the road out is to strengthen yourself in Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. Spend time with Them! And continue to do good, regardless of what’s going on around you. Remember, in time, we will be reap a harvest of both spiritual and natural blessings!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, we come before You acknowledging that many of us are growing weary in life, overwhelmed by the confusion and challenges that surround us. Thank You that You never get weary or worn out, and Your intelligence is unlimited. We need Your strength to replace our weakness, Your energy to overcome our exhaustion. Help us to wait upon You and experience the divine strength that You promise. Lift us up on soaring wings like eagles, help us run without growing weary, and enable us to walk through life without giving up. Strengthen us to continue doing good even when we can't see the harvest yet. In Jesus' name, Amen.
