Word — “Suddenly the invisible, eternal Word takes on visible form - the Incarnation, on display in a flesh and blood Person, as in a mirror. In Him, and now confirmed in us. The most accurate tangible exhibit of God’s eternal thought finds expression in human life. The Word became a human being; we are His address; He resides in us. He captivates our gaze. The glory we see there is not a religious replica; He is the authentic begotten Son. The glory returns in fullness. Only grace can communicate truth in such complete context.” (John 1:14, The Mirror Bible)
Here we read that Jesus is the Word, “To go back to the very beginning, is to find the Word already present there; face to face with God. The one mirrors the other. The Word is I am; God’s eloquence echoes and concludes in Him. The Word equals God.” (John 1:1, The Mirror Bible)
History provides the proof that Jesus was a person who lived among us. Mankind rejected Him, but He still loved us so much that He died for us and returned in a resurrected body. That isn’t the end of the story. He will return again!
Did you know that while we wait on His physical return, He has chosen to live in us! He’s here now. We are so blessed that the Bible helps us know who He truly is!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, we are amazed by the incredible truth that Jesus, Your eternal Word, took on visible form and now lives within us. Help us to grasp the magnitude of what it means that we are His address, His dwelling place on earth. Open our hearts to understand that the same Word who spoke creation into existence now resides in us. Let us be authentic reflections of Your glory, not religious replicas. Thank You that while we wait for His physical return, He has chosen to make His home in our hearts. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Today’s Declaration’s:
I declare that Jesus, the eternal Word, has taken up residence in me and I am His address on earth.
I declare that I am not a religious replica but an authentic display of God's glory through Christ in me.
I declare that the same Word who spoke creation into existence speaks into my circumstances today.
I declare that I am blessed to know Jesus through His Word and to experience His presence within me.
I declare that while I wait for His return, I will live as a tangible exhibit of God's eternal thought in human form.
