Work — “Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord Himself and not merely for others. For we know that we will receive a reward, an inheritance from the Lord, as we serve the Lord Yahweh, the Anointed One! A disciple will be repaid for what he has learned and followed, for God pays no attention to the titles or prestige of men.” (Colossians 3:23-25, TPT)
As we learn that we are not our own, we see that everything we do is for Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit! Whether it’s a job, raising a family, or helping others, it’s all for Their glory and praise. And once we do our part, it will bring miracles into our society and world.
I’m reminded of the rebuilding of the wall in Jerusalem! Before Nehemiah came, the temple had been rebuilt, but the wall around the city had not, and many were against rebuilding it. When Nehemiah heard, he came to rebuild it, and Daddy God gave him a plan: put those living near each section of the wall to work on their own piece. Read Nehemiah chapter 3 for the full details.
Each family worked together, and the wall was rebuilt in 52 days. Many saw this as a miracle. They worked the plan Daddy God had given.
When we do everything as though we’re doing it for Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, nothing will be impossible, and the areas of our lives can be rebuilt. And sooner than you think!
Todays Declaratons:
I declare that I put my heart and soul into everything I do, as though I'm doing it for the Lord Himself!
I declare that I am not my own, and everything I do is for the glory and praise of Daddy God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit!
I declare that I do my part on my piece of the wall, and Daddy God brings miracles through it!
I declare that the broken areas of my life are being rebuilt, and sooner than I think!
Let’s Pray:
Daddy God, thank You that everything I do can be for You. Help me put my heart and soul into my work, my family, and my service to others, knowing I'm doing it for You and not merely for people. Give me Your plan for the broken places in my life, and show me my piece of the wall. Thank You, Jesus and Holy Spirit, for working with me. Let miracles come as I do my part. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Be a Blessing,
Sir Gregory
